The Cyber Security Systems Analyst will be responsible for working in a team environment to conduct research/analysis of current and emerging Cyber Threats Intelligence. The selected candidate will perform Cyber Threat tests and evaluate results.
The candidate must be able to develop and document technical processes and procedures as required for this job; responsible for performing weekly audits, verifying systems security configurations, security incident investigation and remediation.
In this role, the successful candidate will provide Industrial Security support, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures as they relate to classified government contracts.
The IT Analyst will provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution, making independent decisions and working with end users, central OIT, and others as necessary to provide the most effective problem resolution in support of Facilities & Operations, the UAH Police Department, and other Finance & Administration departments as needed.
In this role, you will communicate and document articulately technical issues to highly technical audiences to clarify technical tasks, non-technical audiences with varying objectives, and senior management to aid decision-making.
The Cyber Security Analyst must have strong written and verbal communication skills to develop related program documentation to include reports, presentations, plans, information papers, and proposals; and to present these items to the Government customer.
