The Staff accounting role will interact with internal management and independent registered representatives; process registered representatives commission payments, charges, and annual registration renewals.
In this role, the selected candidate will process, balance and reconcile the Company payroll on a bi-weekly basis; make adjustments to payroll as deemed necessary; print all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
The selected candidate will prepare financial reporting data to meet requirements for both internal management and external reporting use, including month end journal entries and preparation of annual tax data for ad valorem taxes.

Upon completion of the program, candidates will have extensive knowledge and experience in accounting and operational processes within Protective.
This candidate is responsible for coordinating efforts of internal process owners and subject matter expertise. He/she will develop contingency plans to eliminate obstacles to on-time and on-budget completion of the project.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform substantive analytical review of financial statements, with the goal of becoming an expert on facility financial operations; communicate and offer strategic guidance to assigned surgical facilities leadership and management team.
