The selected candidate will work on most phases of systems work independently, requires only general direction. Confers with users to determine problems and potential solutions. May provide technical direction on medium sized hospital level projects involving single and interdepartmental systems.
The primary responsibilities include the continual development and maintenance of an InfoSec program that protects SUs information resources while still permitting the University to be successful in it teaching, learning, research, and administrative missions.
The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing and defining the business requirements and functional or operational architecture for moderately complex projects. S/he formulates and defines system scope and objectives by thoroughly understanding business processes.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide business and technical expertise to management and stakeholders to facilitate planning, set direction, define business initiatives, and develop solutions to business information systems needs and requirements.
In this role, you will perform analysis of business issues, provide recommendations for possible solutions, work with Business users and IT project teams to drive decision making and define requirements for application development, ensuring that business needs are being met.
