Primary responsibility is the design of DC/DC and AC/DC high reliability power electronics in the 20W to 500W output power range for use in severe operating environments. Applications include aerospace flight control systems, engine control systems, flight deck, cabin systems and vehicle drive systems.
Analog Design Engineer with skills and experience in the design of analog circuits for control systems applications for Mil temp operating environments. Ability to design and analyze analog circuits for engine control, flight control and aircraft cabin/flight deck applications.
This role entails using EDA tools for digital and analog circuit designers in advanced technology nodes. It also entails using the design tools for gate/transistor level electrical circuit design and physical layout for ASIC and Foundry circuits, circuit design verification using circuit simulation tools, and electrical and physical rules generation.
This position is a global strength resource to support the plants / functions in implementation of the Morse Manufacturing System (MMS). The candidate will work with and across the organization to drive and promote MMS in the Morse plants worldwide, provide appropriate training, share best practices, and insure application of the MMS to enable achievement of our Manufacturing Leadership strategy.
Lead/participate in specification, design, analysis and development of electronic circuits for microprocessor and/or embedded firmware based devices. Perform technical trade studies to determine feasibility of potential Digital Control approaches, and recommend alternative solutions.
Evaluates customer technical specifications and drawings to determine process or product applicability and reproducibility; and determines the appropriate methods for fabricating and bonding materials.
