In this role, you will provide day to day direction and supervision to assigned direct patient care staff and communicates with the physician and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust, and complete patient care plans.
The Charge RN assists the Director in the supervision and management of assigned units, coordinates and communicates with other shifts to ensure continuity of care; assumes responsibility in absence of Director.
The RN Charge Nurse is responsible for all safety, infection control, and quality of care issues that might arise while on duty, as well as, assisting with performance appraisals, mentoring staff during orientation, and dealing with disciplinary issues.
The Charge Nurse II provides management support for the operation of assigned units. Directs human and physical resources to achieve the established budget, productivity, and standard of care in the areas of responsibility.
