The Senior VoIP Engineer is responsible for the planning, hands-on implementation and ongoing operational support of the campus voice telephony system (Cisco Unified Communications and related technologies and applications).
Provides senior level civil and highway design expertise on all project aspects associated with conceptual engineering, detailed engineering designs, and preparation of contract documents for construction followed by construction administration with respect to the highway and civil aspects of the project.
Candidates should have a strong background in Linux/UNIX and familiarity with Windows system administration, strong interpersonal skills, a desire to work in a very team-oriented environment, , and most of all, must possess a great passion to contribute to our nation exploration of space.
Works on a variety of building diagnostics projects that may include, but not limited to, building enclosure assessments, roofing, façade, waterproofing assessments, litigation support, and distress studies.
Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with no assistance from the supervisor; working closely with upper management. Design and develop programming systems making specific determinations about system performance. Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports.
The Senior Systems Engineer will be adept in troubleshooting, systems selection and design, as well as have the ability to help define solutions in order to meet business needs, helping to provide technical oversight, planning, and implementation across multiple sites.
This position will also be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining database components and providing support for data integration initiatives. This position is also responsible for extracting structured and rationalized data for data migration and reporting purposes.
