he Manager of Projects is responsible for the overall quality and timeliness of the work of all engineering and construction personnel assigned to the project including the coordination of the discipline leads, Project Engineers, Project Engineering Managers and Construction Managers.
The purpose of this position is to lead individual, multi-disciplined real estate and maintenance project solutions for clients, in a highly detailed and safety orientated environment with direct accountability for project delivery.
Directs coordination with clients and other external entities. May initiate or assist in prime contract negotiations or preparation and leads all subcontract definition, award and management of execution.
The Project Manager II is responsible for leading and overseeing all phases of designated information technology projects and initiatives to maximize the organizations investment and to ensure that time, budget and project scope targets are achieved.
Manage the implementation of capital projects, including concept development, basic engineering, process optimization, technical and economic evaluation of alternatives, scope definition and control, estimating, cost control, scheduling, compliance, detailed engineering and design and safety.
Manage the day to day operations of all projects; includes daily communication to all internal and external stakeholders by initiating emails, leading weekly project status meetings, and conducting on-site project kick-off and closeout meetings.
Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including working with the resource manager for resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control processes, testing, documenting training and on-time, on budget and on-scope delivery.
