The Major Account Representative - Blended (MAR-B) position generates new account revenue in new accounts (hunting) and limited revenue growth in existing accounts (farming) utilizing a consultative selling approach in the sale of Waste Management services to large, complex accounts.
In this role, the selected candidate develops a program to provide the necessary solutions through the establishment of strategic business relationships and identification of key areas to be addressed which lead to the establishment of new national account agreements/contracts.
In this role, you will develop accounts with recurring revenue through a strong consultative sales skill set in the ability to probe into unstated needs, guide prospects to solutions, coordinate sales activity through Procurement, Plant Operations & Maintenance, and Project Managers who oversee capital projects.
The primary objective of the sale representative is to meet established sales goals by delivering real value to our customers through designated products. The successful representative will demonstrate the ability to target and manage their territory strategically while operating within an assigned budget.
In this role, the selected candidate will implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and meet/exceed territory objectives; identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses.
This position is responsible for the effective delivery of sales training curriculum and providing individual coaching to sales personnel as well as sales training support to sales management, field sales teams and offices.
