The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing and developing a group of Sales Representatives dedicated to meeting and exceeding sales objectives and to making Novartis the preferred partner in the Oncology community.
In this position you will be responsible generating revenue from license and maintenance sales, work within a large multi-state territory of companies (>$150M), lead the execution of the sales cycle, sell directly to executive level decision-makers, and develop the territory by nurturing existing IFS business partnerships as well as new relationships.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide guidance and direction to direct reports regarding sales strategy, call planning, call frequency, market share productivity and execution of actions plans (POAs).
The General Manager, Sales is charged with managing a sales team within a specific geography in full alignment with the companys strategy with respect to product mix, facility utilization, inventory management and profitability objectives.
In this role, the selected candidate will identify key decision makers within the marketplace, building trusting relationships with them and managing the sales process, arrange meetings with security consultants, security integrators, security directors and architects to present the range of Entrance Control products.
This is a sales position with the primary responsibility for identifying new prospects, soliciting, selling and implementing products and services to the medium and large size market within a defined geography.

In this role, the selected candidate will lead internal training, and commercial / technical support to sales channel; identify and drive participation in exhibitions, Technical Fairs, Technical Presentations etc. for enhanced visibility of the Company and brand building.
In this role, you will meet or exceed assigned quarterly and yearly sales target for the territory by proactively promoting companies offerings (products and services) to its existing and target customers.
