This role has primary responsibility for research and planning as well as providing business advisory services regarding US Sales & Use (S&U) tax technical and compliance related matters for the GE Oil & Gas business.
In this role, the selected candidate will manage the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members; will initiate and keeps track of tax reports, returns, and other information connected to taxes.
In this role, you will be responsible for global transfer pricing, including project and corporate transfer pricing planning, calculate and support annual G&A and royalty charges, preparation of annual documentation, and lead global transfer pricing audits.
In this role, you will be responsible to manage audit defense of tax positions taken in regards to related-party transactions, in addition to considering planning opportunities to optimize companys effective tax rate and/or cash tax position.
In this role, you will perform tax technical research of relevant tax law and court cases for federal and state research credit claims and participate in business development activities including assisting the team director in completing feasibility studies, and developing proposals, presentations and planning strategies.
In this role, the selected candidate will monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted U.S. federal and foreign tax legislation, regulations, and court cases to ensure that adequate procedures are in place to minimize and accurately report the companys income taxes.
