In the role of Unix Security Administrator, you will be responsible to provide for administering UNIX security as part of a 24*7 Follow the Sun Operating Model in a heterogeneous environment across diverse technologies including Keon, LDAP and eTrust.
Assistance in understanding and standardizing practices across operating areas for best practices. Support continuous improvement efforts by supporting process related non-operating time reduction and shift small action team activity.
In this role, the selected candidate will partner with the eCommerce team and iT to prepare and program various proof of concepts for testing; partner with the eCommerce Innovation and iT teams to rest and iterate on developed software and programs.
This role will also serve as advisor to the design team on continuous productivity improvements without loss of accuracy or completeness, reduction of manufacturing and drafting costs, and increased ease of erection and customer value.
Ability to perform a wide spectrum of complex assignments requiring alternative analysis, innovation and judgment. Assumes responsibility for contribution to the success of major or multiple projects, and is periodically called upon to make decisions.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of network communications; uses knowledge of LAN/MAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
Develop high-profile applications through PL/SQL and strong Oracle analytics library working knowledge; design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document in solving business problems for one or more business areas.
Prepare sales data sheets and coordinate project hand-offs to Project Managers as necessary to fulfill customer requirements and Compression Systems contractual commitments. and present technical data to internal and external customers.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
