The Chief Nursing Officer ( CNO ) has overall authority for providing leadership, direction, and administration of direct patient care activities, nursing practice, and nursing education and development across the organization.
In this role, you will oversee and direct the development of a comprehensive quality and patient safety program with practice guidelines. Collaborates with physicians and Hospital Leadership in coordinating quality and safety initiatives. Participates in orienting Medical Staff and other hospital staff members to policies and procedures related to quality and patient safety.
In this role, the selected candidate will serve as the organization's primary in-house counsel providing guidance on all legal matters including, but not limited to, complex merger and acquisition transactions, SEC compliance and regulatory risk matters, and corporate governance and policies.
In this role, the selected candidate will examine reports, evidence and other relevant data to determine advisability of proceeding with litigation; analyze probable outcomes through knowledge and research of legal precedents.
