The role of the Area Sales Manager is to be an entrepreneur responsible for growth and success in market development, application opportunities, new customer growth along with being the companys foremost authority on the applications & requirements for Process Automation.
Conducts product information seminars for end users, A&E accounts, distributors and representatives. Assists distributors and representatives sales personnel in making personal sales calls to promote products and services and secure orders for Richter.
The AM will hire and manage worldclass teams within their cluster centres to help deliver these objectives. The AM will also be the primary person responsible for new sales with a prospective customers and will present the best range of options to suit that customers needs.
Recruit, hire, coach and retain an engaged team that demonstrate sales-focused and customer-centric behaviors with customer interactions; identify and celebrate operational successes, as well as develop and implement plans to address opportunities.
Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
Responsible for owning and driving internal and external customer satisfaction, including management of customer relationships, business development, issue resolution, and timely, efficient emergency and preventative service.
