An ideal candidate has a background in engineering, transportation, distribution and general logistics, He/she has program management, project management skills and has demonstrated the ability to build programs and drive process improvements.
In this role, you will work closely with the national transportation business lines modal market sector leaders and with regional and area business line leaders in the pursuit and execution of projects to which assigned.
In this position, you will plan, organize, and supervise work of a staff of professionals and technicians, including sub consultants, Coordinate the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety and organization of internal technical and support staff, and sub consultants.
Actively manage client's budget, schedule and program; HNTB budget and schedule; project communications and documentation. Lead a team of ITS engineers to produce ITS planning documents and designs. Coordinate work efforts and review work performed.
Manage the dedicated contract truckload carrier relationships with several dedicated fleet operators exercising dotted line reporting relationship with carrier on site fleet manager(s) related to all aspects of day-to-day dedicated fleet executional requirements.
