The Senior Sales Manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. The Senior Sales Manager is a career sales professional and a top producer within hotel sales who has demonstrated through performance a commitment and expertise in direct sales.
In this position you will be responsible generating revenue from license and maintenance sales, work within a large multi-state territory of companies (>$150M), lead the execution of the sales cycle, sell directly to executive level decision-makers, and develop the territory by nurturing existing IFS business partnerships as well as new relationships.
In this role, the successful candidate will develop and implement strategic and tactical business plans for Strategic and/or Critical customers within the territory and for all critical projects throughout the year, gaining approval with management and other key stakeholders.
In this role, the selected candidate will identify and evaluate employee problems that arise and provide proactive solutions such as real time feedback, coaching, mentoring, training and employment actions when necessary.
Successful candidates will identify bid opportunities through direct interactions with existing and prospective DoD customers, as well as through a wide range of industry forums and procurement resources.
