Responsible for communicating timelines and providing updates to team members on the status of each release; PMP and ITIL certification, as well as experience in ASAP and AGILE methodologies, is required.
In this role, the selected candidate will work collaboratively with regional and country business and IT teams, IT Capability Lead, Business Relationship Managers, Business SMEs, and development teams (on-shore and off-shore) to identify, verify and document functional and technical requirements.
The Release Manager (RM) serves as the point of contact for oversight, scheduling, and coordination of staging, piloting, and full deployment of releases to production as well as the scheduling and facilitation of official readiness reviews. Releases can be a single change or group of changes integrated for production deployment.
The Product Release Manager at MapAnything will own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and management of releases across all products with Development, Product, Support and QA teams.
The IDR Release Manager will report the IDR Deputy Program Manager and will work with CMS, as well as O&M project management, database administrators, data modelers, architects, ETL developers, and data and business analysts, to plan the O&M components ( including but not limited to enhancements and break - fixes ) of an IDR release.
Organize, chair and document Change Approval Board meetings, which is the governance forum with the authority to approve a release deployment. Facilitate decision making and resolution of escalated issues as required.
The Configuration/Release Manager will be responsible for defining and ensuring that CI controls and processes are followed for application code releases into non-production and Production environments.
