The Individual shall monitor network equipment power and environmental control equipment, including the environmental support systems and notify appropriate VA personnel (in accordance with the VAs incident notification scheme) when any of this equipment fails and/or does not appear to be performing adequately.
In this role, you will provide intermediate level analysis of voice, video, and data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
This position provides System/Network Administration and infrastructure support for our client's environment which includes Windows 7 and 10 desktop administration support and imaging, Windows Server administration, Storage Array Network storage, tape libraries and drives, and printers.

Act as primary network and systems administrator for a network comprised of PC, Mac and Linux systems. Provide primary networking support to networked systems, provide software and hardware maintenance following compliance requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will manage, design, upgrade and maintain all aspects of virtual infrastructure; including VMWare vSphere, ESX clusters/hosts, vMotion, Microsoft Hyper-V and host/guest provisioning process.
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of computer networks including hardware/software support, training, and special projects; plans, designs and implements data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems.
The successful candidate will serve as the Sr. Network System Administrator on a program providing challenging cyber projects which contribute to national priority missions related to telephony and IoT technologies.
