In this role you will perform scientific work involving the designing, developing and adapting of mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques and utilize skills to support systems evaluation and program execution.
Responsible for researching emerging information technology trends related to Surface Transportation, evaluating existing and potential ramifications on the services we provide, and supporting the implementation of technology in the transportation space.
Provide range of services, as required, to include working collaboratively with clients for identification of data sources, data extraction from enterprise systems and data warehouses, creation and operation of data and analytical models and methodologies,and development of finished reports, briefing memos, analyses, and recommendations based upon results.

You will align with specific practice groups to support their long-term goals, business development, competitive intelligence and resource needs.
Provide research on technologies under the direction of the operational research analyst lead. Serve in the quantitative analysis field and work with senior staff to resolve a wide range of operations research (OR) related issues.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop cost-benefit analysis, data collection, data analysis, risk analysis, simulation model execution, economic analysis, and operational effectiveness studies.
Prepare and attend(in person or phone/web-based) client meetings in areas including bid defenses, screeners and recruitment materials development, investigator meeting, and other client meetings (as required).
In this role, the selected candidate will serve as a technical analyst to the director of Homeland Defense Capability Development (HDCD) as a team member of a Department of Defense (DoD) client site effort.
