In this role, you will coordinate with the budget formulation (BF) Chief on issues that require escalation before contacting the eCPIC system helpdesk. This can include but not limited to, User Acceptance Testing issues, external validation errors related to the Federal IT Dashboard (ITDB), and eCPIC module customization issues.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide a timely response to incidents and service requests received in ticketing system adhering to established performance metrics/service level agreements (SLAs).
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for administering hardened Linux based systems assuring configuration control and automation where possible including sub-systems, patching, packaging, performance tuning, networking, user management, and security.
In this role, you will ensure that new processes are well defined, tested, and approved by management before introducing to production environment and maintains change control documentation for all system related changes.
The Individual shall monitor network equipment power and environmental control equipment, including the environmental support systems and notify appropriate VA personnel (in accordance with the VAs incident notification scheme) when any of this equipment fails and/or does not appear to be performing adequately.
