In this role, you will be responsible for attending to patients to render diagnostic, therapeutic, medical, dental, podiatric or surgical services in the Hershey Medical Center as part of the Medical Staff or Specified Professional category as defined in the Medical Staff Bylaws.
In this role, you will be responsible to function as a part of an interdisciplinary team as an expert clinician and decision maker on application of resources required for patient care involving a crisis or emergent situation
In this role, you will perform direct patient care under the direction of the attending physicians, with clinical practice in pediatrics and emergency medicine. The physician assistant must be able to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you will be responsible to involved in the care of patients with respect to pharmacotherapy issues, participating in assuring adherence to medical center drug use policy, and providing pharmacotherapy education and information for physicians, nurses, and residents, students, and patients.
The Sports Medicine Fellowship program is within the Department of Family and Community Medicine which boasts an 18 member faculty for our Family Medicine and Emergency/Family Medicine residency programs, eight of whom are sports medicine trained.
