In this role, you will develop, optimize, and tune scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and queries in support of application development in an Oracle enterprise database environment.
The Database Developer will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and production support for Marine Corps Center for Lessons Learned SQL Server data environments. The Database Developer will be a key contributor in implementing forward thinking solutions.
This position will give you hands-on experience working on the design, development, integration, test, and maintenance of operationally deployed database driven web systems as well as special data processing systems.
In this role, the selected candidate will design, develop and sustain large numbers of ETL processes including scripts that incorporate and address data quality, data sharing, performance, maintainability, and flexibility.

In this role, the selected candidate will develop new functionalities as requested to improve productivity and/or processes and engage in the database development process, from inception through delivery.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of existing databases which was programmed using MS Access and VBA, the design, and implementation of new improvement to the databases. This person will also be responsible for analyzing data flows, resolving data reporting issues and making necessary improvements.
This role requires extensive experience in database development for web-based and web-enable business applications, and must possess hands-on experience for internal and external projects, develop new stored procedures, functions, views, and other related objects.
