The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Educator is to provide point-of-service support with key healthcare providers, clinics, and infusion centers within a specified geography in order to enhance disease knowledge, support the patient therapy selection process, coordinate and provide training, assist patient pull through, enhance compliance and improve adherence.
In this role, you will provide promotional product education and disease state awareness support to identified patients and their caregivers within their homes or approved training sites live; in-person or virtually; via telephone or web based technology.
Provide educational support to identified patients on the infusion technique for approved medication and provide ongoing support to support adherence to therapy and ensure patients are connected to the appropriate support services offered by the client.
This RN Nurse Educator will be responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of orientation, basic and advanced education programs and specialized courses for all levels of nursing personnel.
In this role, you will complete client specific and UBC training programs within time frame indicated at time of release of training materials. Completes post-training assessment test with mandatory passing score.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist patients/caregivers in understanding and implementing treatment protocols prescribed by the target physician; reinforce treatment expectations established by the physician and review potential product benefits and side effects.
