In this role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. Performs duties in any nursing capacity as needed.
In this role, you will maintain resident confidentiality and privacy; treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect; know and comply with and ensure that all nursing services personnel know and comply with resident's rights rules.
Utilizes communication strategies including chain of command and issue escalation, which result in intended outcomes. Mentors, orients, and coaches others in unit specific operations and patient care activities.
The CNIII facilitates the smooth operation of the nursing unit, acts as a mentor, preceptor, and resource for the Clinical Nurse I and II, as well as other staff members and provides advanced consultation to other units and hospital staff regarding complex surgical patient care problems.
