Lead and manage cross-functional global communications and workflows, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables;manage day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of project issues.
In this role, you will identify customer issues, develop effective solutions and successfully manage the communication to the customer. Hands on project management or delivery experience driving deliverables, getting things done and in the detail enough to speak intelligently about what is being shipped and articulate issues, defects and resolutions.
Manage technical and project level risk processes as well as internal scope and change control activities; comply with company product lifecycle management process expectations and similar industry standards.
The Deputy Program Manager will support Astronomy & Earth Observation programs within the Teledyne Imaging Sensors (TIS) Program Office, including organizing interdepartmental (Engineering and Manufacturing Operations) activities to ensure completion of the program on schedule and within budget from project initiation through delivery.
Ensure business units and senior business managers have the best possible and most current information to support, prepare, respond and recover from any minor or major incident that occurs around the globe with the potential to impact company personnel or property.
The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding and application of Earned Value management principles , strong leadership abilities to include proven experience leading diverse, technical teams.
