The Inventory Accountant will be responsible for accounting functions for inventory, including reconciling company inventory to general ledger, monitoring inventory transactions, resolving inventory reconciliation issues, reconciling inventory counts and assisting with improvement in internal controls relating to inventory.
In this role, you will research and resolve complex accounting issues balancing client preferred solutions within the confines of the US GAAP structure. Common complex accounting areas include revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, preferred stock, business combinations, and consolidation.
In this role, you will perform accurate and timely monthly close activities, including accrual and other journal entries, intercompany invoicing and reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and other account reconciliations and roll forwards.
