The Securitization Accounting role is responsible for the accounting and reporting relating to securitized debt. This role offers the opportunity to account and report on multiple deal structures, assist in the launch of new deal structures, and work cross functionally with multiple business partners.
In this role, the selected candidate will complete and maintain process documentation and ensure SOX 404 compliance for the functional area in addition to serving as the key liaison with internal and external auditors on all commercial business matters.

This position performs advanced accounting functions and manages multiple fund sources in the School of Medicine (SOM) Deans Office Finance Team. Oversees accounting projects complex in nature requiring the use of initiative and independent judgment.

As the Senior Accountant, your key responsibility will be to assist in all accounting related activities such as AP, AR, budget, month and year end closes, etc. You will be expected to continuously improve the accounting departments policies, practices and procedures while practicing SOX accountability and following GAAP compliance.
