In this role, you will work closely with our Software Engineer, Product Management and Customer Success teams to ensure all user stories are tested, acceptance criteria are met and risk is identified prior to each release. This role requires the ability to learn and apply knowledge within the QA area of accountability. We utilize agile development methodologies.
QA Engineers are engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle which include; gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models.
Work with cross-functional teams (Architects, Developers, QA) in test automation activities across the organization. Automate and document tests from existing test cases/scenarios and new feature specifications.
Define, coordinate, and execute avionics integration activities in Texas, including identifying, designing, reviewing, building, and installing wire harnesses, components, and instrumentation proceeded by electrical and physical checkouts.
Work with the QA Lead to research, investigate, implement and train other QA Testing Resources in the areas of Agile Testing Practices, Test Driven Development, Testing Automation and managing Testing Metrics for publication to Upper Management.
Participate in the design and development of applications to configure network security policies, intrusion prevention rules and develop framework to monitor blocked threats/attacks by security appliance.
Work within the SCRUM team, adhere to Agile methodologies, Continuous technical development improve current skills and learn new technology and knowledge sharing (We offer paid training on the topic of your choice every year!).
