The Hardware Support Engineer is responsible for hardware support of Mentor Graphics emulation products at customer sites to include delivery of parts, diagnostics, debug of electronic functional failures, hardware swap out, validation and tracking of parts, service calls etc.
In this role, the selected candidate must have the ability resolve basic product defects with code and produce hotfixes for customers; provide timely and frequent updates to customers and customer tickets.
Participate in various software engineering projects using advanced development patterns and component-based architecture;actively collaborate with the team in ongoing product development, including design, development, review, integration, test, and deployment activities.
This role requires hands on iOS development experience and the ability to work with mobile developers, product managers and senior architects on our mobile team to establish the technical architecture and infrastructure for the our business iOS team.
Lead in the design, development, deployment and support of software components, and software solutions for business units and/or enterprise level projects in the Microsoft .NET environment for multiple platforms.
The responsibility includes interfacing with customer, working with PM to ensure project requirements are complete, and providing technical leadership and development functions during the Implementation Phase.
The ideal candidate will have experience with quality assurance, including tasks related to testing web based application and identifying and reporting issues with some level of initial troubleshooting and suggesting possible resolution or escalation.
