The Logistics Engineering Manager position is responsible for Optimizing the Supply Chain from end-to-end by making company Leaner, more efficient and more profitable while increasing customer service, quality, and associate morale. This position provides functional, technical or process leadership throughout the organization and will lead cross-functional teams to successful completion of strategic initiatives.
This position will manage raw material commodity strategies and hold suppliers accountable for top performance. This role will have direct commodity responsibility in addition to managing a small staff. The position will establish metrics and standards to ensure that purchased materials support quality, cost, delivery, and service levels.
The Supply Chain Support Manager of project implementation owns day to day project management activities for multiple large scale initiatives including Supply Chain Synchronization, Floor Loading and Distribution Accuracy.
This role will be responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement methodology to lead the design of complex Supply Chain Solutions for current and future operations. Responsible for the Management of other engineers. Provides regular and proactive communications to customers and leadership team.
Assist in the execution of day to day sourcing activities within the plant (specifications, ASL, etc updates); partner with key stakeholders and partners to address technical issues for components and processes.
