This position will manage raw material commodity strategies and hold suppliers accountable for top performance. This role will have direct commodity responsibility in addition to managing a small staff. The position will establish metrics and standards to ensure that purchased materials support quality, cost, delivery, and service levels.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will direct department personnel in the procurement, receipt, disbursement, and inventory control of material to ensure on - time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels.
As the key liaison with the business is accountable for the performance of the business unit with respect to procurement goals and initiatives through understanding the connections between strategies, spend, suppliers and market intelligence.
This role will lead complex, enterprise-wide strategic sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations for the procurement of goods and services in the enterprise IT categories, including telecom and data network services, hardware, software and IT services.
This role will be responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement methodology to lead the design of complex Supply Chain Solutions for current and future operations. Responsible for the Management of other engineers. Provides regular and proactive communications to customers and leadership team.
Develops thorough category strategies to drive value based on an understanding of business unit needs, the supply market, spend baseline, evolution and benchmarking. Effectively document, communicate and gain buy-in for the strategies.
Assist in the execution of day to day sourcing activities within the plant (specifications, ASL, etc updates); partner with key stakeholders and partners to address technical issues for components and processes.
