In this role, you will typically be the only dialysis nurse in the hospital during your shift. You are not alone though. You will work very closely with the hospital staff each day to assess, troubleshoot, and make sound decisions for critically ill patients.
Our Registered Nurses independently use the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for surgical patients, using information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care.
The Rehab Staff Nurse develops goals, in collaboration with patients, their families and the Rehab team to focus on disease management/prevention, gaining functional independence and encourages socialization with others.
The WOCN is a licensed caregiver who practices in a competent manner, upholds the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals in the clinical environment that employs a shared governance model.
