In this role, the selected candidate will be supporting a custom CRM application, specifically the operational data or transactional repository. The responsibilities for the position include the analysis, design, development and 24/7 support of the production processes and applications.
The Database Development Engineer (DBDE) will contribute to the engineering of multi-tiered data applications utilizing Microsoft® SQL Server with activities including but not limited to architecture, design, implementation, testing, support, DR strategy, version control, object management, standards, code & design review, production staging & implementation planning, support, training and integration.
In this role, you will be responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Manipulating, aggregating and deriving useful information from data stored across many sources and different databases; using and defining automated tests to verify that loads and transformations work as intended.
In this role, the selected candidate will create and maintain databases using best practices; design develop code and all information system in compliance with applicable STIGs, polices, best practices, regulations from all governing authorities such as (but not limited to) DoD, DISA, Army, NIST and implement best coding practices from organizations such as OWASP, W3C and SANS.
