In this role, you will be responsible to provide leadership and oversight for the Credit & Underwriting Analysis team to provide data analysis, business process research and recommendations and report writing to support the Central Underwriting Department in consistent underwriting and exception approvals.
In this role, you will monitor receivables, identify problem accounts for targeted collections and provide weekly update reports of past due receivables and targeted account balances to management. Interact with customers to obtain additional credit information to establish and support credit lines.
In this role, the selected candidate will build credit decision models based on data insights, the regulatory environment and state-by-state customization to forecast credit risk and improve non-renewal rates and defaults.
In this role, the selected candidate will proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information, interpret needs, and translate them into requirements; manage the creation and testing of business rules to correctly handle and use the data.
In this position, you will be responsible for recommending trades and for monitoring the credit quality of holdings in the insurance accounts, pension fund, and mutual fund family. The analyst will assume coverage of the Energy and Basic Industry sectors. The analyst will work with guidance from the Co-Heads of Investment Grade and in a collaborative manner with the Investment Grade Credit Teams other credit analysts.
