In this role, you will provide healthcare services typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of a physician. Conduct complete physicals, provide treatment, and counsel patients. May, in some cases, prescribe medication. Must graduate from an accredited educational program for physician assistants.
The Physician Assistant works as part of the orthopedic surgical team performing a variety of clinical direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the orthopedic patient management plan for clinic patients.
