The Test Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing automatic test software and hardware for modules, power supplies and sub-assemblies for both design qualification and production acceptance.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting or performing pre-defined acoustic and vibration mechanical tests on generators and turbines installed at commercial power plants worldwide to include on-site field specialized.
The Software Engineer in Test (SEIT) is an experienced team member who works closely with other teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions. They possess knowledge of all phases of testing within the SDLC, are effective communicators, and are proactive in test planning and execution.
In this role, the selected candidate will support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the company culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures; follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices.
This position is responsible for identifying and coordinating requirements for successful completion of Compliance Flight Testing at the customer test site in Russia. Planning for engine maintenance, engine configuration upgrades, instrumentation installation, support for aircraft deployments and borescope inspections are essential.
