The Senior Engineer Systems Engineering will be responsible for setting the design requirements for tower shell / tower internal designs for wind turbines. This includes defining and owning interfaces between components, cost target for tower components and defining MGTP (Multi Generation Technology Plan) for tower components.
In this position, you will work with our customers to help them understand and define their requirements. Propose and implement cost effective solutions from the initial concept through the final design, fabrication, checkout and system turnover to the customer considering factors of feasibility, safety, environmental impact, and adherence to industry standards.
In this position, you will design and procure test equipment in support of jet engine test programs. Solve problems involving strength of materials, stress analysis, fluid flow, heat transfer, structural design, machine design and piping systems. Coordinate and facilitate the procurement, fabrication, installation and checkout of these test systems.
The candidate should have a strong background in cyber security for SCADA and industrial control systems, including best security practices, attack surface and vulnerability analysis, countermeasures and mitigation techniques, and intrusion detection systems.
In this role, you will coordinate and perform critical research and development jointly with the Figeac, France site to advance UTAS propeller control and modeling technologies for the NGRT (occasional travel to France may be required).
As a Senior Control Systems Engineer you will develop advanced model-based controls and dynamic optimization technologies. You will have to work independently as well as with the team to develop controls technology solutions for a variety of GE product applications including turbo-machinery, renewable energy systems, locomotives, water-treatment and healthcare.
In this position, you will build and evaluate detail, module, or system level models is required. Key elements of this position include the capability to interpret analysis results for accuracy and propose alternate configurations to resolve design.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of B2B EDI integration solutions in a large multi-partner supply chain environment using Gentran Integration Suite/Sterling Integrator system.
In this role, you will work as part of a team to design, develop, implement, and transition capabilities required by the client to meet their operational requirements. The selected candidate will be performing system engineering and integration within an agile development process.
