The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the advanced mechanical design and high-level innovation associated with new automatic door products using an established product development process (PDP).
Work under the general direction of the Cell/Program Manager or designee and is responsible for the development and implementation of manufacturing plans and processes for new programs, and support of current manufacturing programs to achieve cost reductions, improved quality and an efficient delivery schedules.
Must have experience managing or being highly engaged with dynamic product; hands-on experience with core lighting product development; years of experience as a mechanical engineering team leader with direct reports.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will provide technical engineering leadership in the development and manufacturing support of medical devices / equipment instruments such as surgical devices during the feasibility, design, verification, and validation development as well as post release phases.
Candidate must have firm grasp of engineering fundamentals, including ability to run hand calculations such as creating free body diagrams, beam calcs, shear-moment diagrams, thermal growth, & tolerance stack-ups.
