Supervise a group of Electrical Engineers in project design and development tasks, including drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications, respond to client questions and comments, review contractor submittals, and provide clarifications during construction.
In this role, the selected candidate must have direct experience with wireless communication technologies, including knowledge/experience with proper PC board/System level design so to preclude electromagnetic compatibility issues within RF/Embedded microcontroller context.
The Sr. Design Engineer, Power Electronics will support fundamental and application-specific research related to power electronics circuits and systems design under the direction of a Project Lead or Principal Investigator but with minimum supervision.
Successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of electrical systems, will serve as a troubleshooter and will be key problem solver on projects and will have the ability to design at all levels.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide technical engineering leadership in the development and support of medical device surgical instruments during the feasibility, design, verification, validation development as well as post release phases.
Experience with local/state/federal building codes, client interaction, project meetings, construction cost estimating, and budget management. Demonstrated AutoCAD experience required. Vermont or New Hampshire PE required. LEED AP is desirable.
