In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of occupational therapy services to Summitt ElderCare participants and oversees the services provided by the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats residents in accordance with orders of the physician through the use of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potentials in all areas of a residents life.
In this role, the selected candidate will adhere to and model agency HEALTH Matters values and Customer Service standards required; obtain and maintain OASIS certification required within two years of employment required.
The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs for the agency to facilitate rehabilitation. S/he directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
In this role, you will provide services that identify, prevent, re mediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain with emphasis on upper extremity function, maximal independence in activities of daily living, and cognitive perceptual motor function.
