Provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day to day activities of the nursing assistants. Supervision must be in accordance with federal, state, local laws, and the policies of the facility.
Our Registered Nurses are responsible for providing IV nursing care in the home or ambulatory setting, performing in-hospital discharge assessments and occasional IV hook-ups, teaching patients about their home infusion therapy, and providing ongoing monitoring of their treatment.
Supervises and evaluates work performance in terms of Resident care, staff relations, development of subordinates and efficiency of patient care through observation and sufficient periodic review to assure work assignments are completed.
The primary functions include providing technical nursing support and consultation to residential managers, teams and direct care staff regarding health and wellness needs of the supported individuals and to educate direct care staff in specific maintenance and preventive care methods.
Provide leadership by working cooperatively and effectively with physicians, ancillary staff and other administrative and support personnel in maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice in the multidisciplinary clinical setting.
