The RePower services engineer will work with Wind Resource Assessments, Mechanical Loads Analysis, Bill of Materials, and provide general application and requisition engineering support for all RePower activities.
The Process Engineer I, using established procedures, will provide engineering support in the areas of product and process development, troubleshooting, cost (yield and labor efficiency) improvement, product quality improvement, and cycle time reduction. Investigation and proposal of new production equipment, procedures, and methods to automate, improve, and/or scale-up existing processes.
The position is responsible for assessing all aspects of commercial engine design (including part and module interaction) relative to established program metrics (performance, weight, cost, life, and other physical and functional requirements) as the product matures through subsequent IPD phases, and guiding /coordinating the delivery of design solutions (many via trade studies) that address gaps to or improvement of program metrics.
In this role, you will assist in major equipment failures by conducting and documenting failure root cause analysis investigations, and work with a team to develop repair plans and implement corrective actions as needed.
The candidate shall utilize technical materials such as equipment manuals, system drawings, P&IDs, schematics and blue prints to troubleshoot and repair electrical/control systems. Interpret industry, regulatory, and company specifications and standards and apply to projects.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for design of building mechanical systems (HVAC) including appropriate system concepts, calculations, energy modeling, layout, sizing, selections, specifications and coordination.
In this role, you will coordinate the functional groups involved in the transfer of an evaluation material to a production material (Sample to POR conversion process).(IT, EHS, Engineering, Quality, Facilities).
