Circuit design: using sound theoretical and analytics using circuit simulators (such as PSPICE or equivalent electronic analysis tools), schematic capture and circuit board layout using an integrated design tool such as Altima or ORCAD.
The Electrical Engineer candidate will need five plus years of experience developing hardware and firmware for embedded systems. The candidate will be accountable for designing, building, and testing electronic products for the gas industry.

The successful candidate will develop and implement software improvements, present training material to various engineering groups, and ultimately act as consultant and analytical expert to all divisions of RBC.
Manage obsolesence, troubleshoot, repair and perform root cause analysis of fuzing products and/or components. Lead Failure Review Boards (FRBs) thorough investigations of quality escapes, near misses, and failures, ensuring proactive solutions which help prevent future issues.
Engage in applied research and development in the areas of natural language processing, computational linguistics, acoustic signal processing, speech enhancement, speech coding, audio effects, channel normalization/mitigation, feature extraction and signal characterization.

This position works directly on the Production floor and interfaces directly with Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing, Purchasing, Production Control, Quality, and Accounting to implement the divisions technical objectives as they apply to the manufacturing operation.
Ensure that inspection capabilities (i.e., inspection equipment) are in place for new product. Identify hidden characteristics for in process verification and generate customer nonconformance reports (deviation/waivers) with corrective actions.
