The Nursing Clinical Supervisor functions as the administrative manager during the off shift hours of operation, responsible for the planning, coordination , staffing, supervising and maintaining control of all resources required to assure effective and efficient management of patient care and safety according to departmental standards of care and practice.

The Shift Clinical Nursing Supervisor manages the delivery of patient care across the continuum of the hospital, assuring that standards of nursing practice are met. He/she acts as an administrative resource for issues that occur off shift and weekends.
In this role, you will review visit calendars to ensure appropriate utilization of services and the assignment of service codes. Review the patient's plan of care to ensure it is individualized, appropriate, and adheres to the Healing Pathway recommended frequency.
