The engineer provides direct advisory support in the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly and material handling.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for trouble shooting issues that arise during line trials and package testing on moderate to low-moderate risk projects with minimal supervision.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for recommending and implementing design approaches necessary to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes, and improving economy and quality.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an expertise in statistical analysis, to include past performance of trend analyses and assessment of risk from various hazards, both intrinsic and extrinsic to the vehicle platform and occupant (college transcripts and/or journal publications).
Coordinate development of tolling systems from concept of operations through construction; supervise development of conceptual and preliminary design documents and cost estimates for tolling systems including design-build Request for Proposal (RFP) documents; provide review of design-build contractor submittals; and provide support for integration of tolling systems with other roadway systems during construction.
Provides reliability-engineering support , performing data analytics of predictive maintenance activities, analyzing maintenance data to optimize the maintenance program, and identifying critical spares for critical assets.
Monitors, controls and reports on project progress on a regular basis and when exceptional circumstances arise escalates to the Senior Project Manager and Project Sponsor/Business Lead, as appropriate.
