Managing project staff in the transportation design/civil engineering group in the Tempe office. This group includes other professional engineers, engineering interns, designers, CAD staff, and other technical staff.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will work with a team of engineers to support the Design, Integration and Testing for the ATB program. Support may include designing electrical cable assemblies, processing engineering design changes, performing tests on launch vehicles, processing test data and troubleshooting test anomalies.
Develop new test programs based on Verilog simulations and assembly language, generate and debug new test patterns, silicon characterization programs, and product qualification programs for new silicon.
The Senior Physical Substation Engineer is responsible for leading the development of General Arrangements for Substations, Equipment Plans, Elevations, and Sections, Control House Layouts, Grounding design, Conduit and cable design, Creation of Bills of Materials, and Cable schedules utilizing Microsoft Office and MicroStation software.
Candidate will also support writing and reviewing test procedures for launch vehicles, implementing internal and customer requirements and supporting factory and launch site integration, test and launch activities. Travel of up to 25% of the time may be required.
Candidate will be responsible for working closely with other engineering and design team members to coordinate overall design package and requirements. Other duties include developing technical specifications, development of project design basis, providing direction and guidance to drafters and designers, directing the flow of drafting and designer duties, insuring design schedules are met, including regularly providing project status updates to project engineer.
The responsibilities would include a mix of discussions with architecture/digital/product/test team to understand design and its use model, develop test verification plans, write test cases, debug design RTL to root-cause failures, gate level simulation debug, product test pattern delivery and documenting the progress throughout the development phase.
Operate analytical instruments and interpret data collected from a variety of sample types, ranging from small pieces off oreign material to individual components to complete medical implantable devices.
Code may be used in a wide variety of commercial or end-user applications. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Performs complex preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs and installations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and/or HVAC equipment, machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of buildings.
