The candidate will participate on engineering teams performing design, development and integration of RMS advanced programs within the Advanced Engineering Prototyping Department.As such, the candidate will contribute to the development of all stages of advanced product development for RMS products.
The candidate will be responsible for developing technical solutions for a wide range of complex problems related to the entire missile product life cycle from design to manufacturing and integration and test of various types of missile subsystems.
Serve as an expert for how parts are manufactured and flow through the value stream. Understand inputs and outputs of each process, develop a strong working relationship with manufacturing supervisors and floor leadership.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing innovative combustor cooling schemes to develop full-life combustors; responsible for proposing new material choices in support of full-life combustors.
The Engine Mechanical Integrity (EMI) department is responsible and accountable for the engineering design, analysis, development, certification and support of structural and mechanical systems components for Propulsion Engines and Auxiliary Power Units.
