Assists project management by proactively managing the project budget by controlling expenses, administering owner and subcontractor billings, identifying work not covered by subcontractors scope of work/budget and ensuring the success of office support functions related to the overall cost and scheduled completion.
Manages tasks/projects and clients expectations for the planning, design and construction of Water/Waste water treatment plants, storm water systems, distribution/collection systems, and pump/lift stations as well as creating construction documents, specifications and handling construction oversight/administration.

The project engineer will develop products for and support the New Entrant Certification Team (NECT) in technical reviews (e.g. ERB, System Verification Review (SVR), Chief Engineer Review Board (ChERB), as appropriate), system-level risks, test plan reviews, certification reports, NECT IPT inputs, and CCB inputs.
The Project Engineer assists and supports Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned projects. Works under direct supervision, performs routine daily activities and gathers and distributes information.
