The ideal candidate will plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the facility's nursing department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Responsible for overall fiscal management of all resources required for the effective performance of the service line and the achievement of physician and hospital integration goals, excellence in clinical outcomes, improved relationships with internal and external customers, gains in operational efficiencies, and positive economic impact.
In this role, the selected candidate participates in planning, priority setting and the development of policies and procedures for health care activities that comply with facility and contractual requirements and ACA, NCCHC and State standards.
The Home Health Director of Nursing is responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operations of the home care facility. This includes: coordinating and completing assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long range objectives of the company; oversight of the eligibility of patients referred to home care services, planning for the services to be provided to patients and supervising their total home health care.
