In this role, the selected candidate will provide input on safe technical engineering design, costs, plans, and specifications for the construction of new facilities and reconditioning or altering existing systems and equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible to design new connector and cable manufacturing machinery utilizing the Siemens NX CAD software and assist in developing and executing the machine qualification plan.
In this role, you will submit shop drawings to city as required and monitor city review comments and forward to appropriate subcontractor to assure compliance with city requirements prior to proceeding with work.
The Project Engineer II will support Customers, Sales and the Front end departments with engineering and design needs as required. Provide structural review/calculations to ensure Kawneer products meet all Federal/State/Local building codes using commercial software such as STAAD, C-Beam, and other in-house tools;
The Project Engineer will possess the ability to establish budgets, execute production schedules and effectively communicate between multiple departments driving the successful completion of multi-million dollar capital equipment projects.
In this role, you will process all shop drawings on all contracts with owner in coordination with project schedule to insure timely delivery of building components and materials in order to maintain scheduled project milestones and meet critical path item deadlines.
In this role, the selected candidate will be primarily responsible for the engineering and design of building electrical systems (lighting, power, and limited special systems) for facilities such as K-12 and higher education, healthcare, hospitality and commercial buildings.
