Manages electrical projects by providing oversight of CAD designs; selection of materials; preparation of the construction job packages; programming and start up support. Utilizes other approved computer software as necessary for project design.
Provide technical support for the electrical and automation systems of the factory. Responsible for maintaining the hardware and software process control systems including associated instrumentation. Issue, maintain, and update related documentation to be in compliance with pertinent change control documents.
This position will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance of facility equipment and machinery to maintain optimal up time of production equipment. May perform wiring, plumbing, electrical/mechanical maintenance repair and installation. Trouble shooting PLCs, motors, motor controls, drives, electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, and robotics. Effectively communicate and provide training or technical support to maintenance team in these areas.
Attend events, job sites, and meet closely with: Owners, clients, architects, and other disciplines; research and review best Electrical Design layouts and codes with licensed professional Electrical Engineer.
This position is responsible to help ensure high levels of machine uptime are achieved on the night shift. This will be primarily accomplished by supporting troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts on the night shift. In addition this position will assist in the updating of prints and applications to meet Gates Siloam Springs design standards, and in the development of upgrade projects for equipment reaching end of service life.
